You can love more than one person at a time.
I love my girlfriend. I love a girl from ten years ago. I love another girl too. Really. I love them all still 100%. The energy is the same. The intent and the potentiality is the same.
Different people have different capacities for love. I think a lot of people only love one or two people at once, and even then, they refuse to accept that they really love that other person. You really have to give yourself permission, but once you do it, you can love whoever you want to - without guilt, restriction or the need for it to be returned.
I'm not talking about loving your family members. That's something totally different. No, I'm talking about new people who appear in your life and catch something inside of you. Resonate with you. Making your heart race. Affecting your dreams.

Re: Love
Wed, August 18, 2004 - 3:54 PMThat's a good one... Not only can you love more than one person... you can love in different ways too.
I collect people. And if there is a connection, I find myself really truly honestly loving them. Sometimes it has nothing to do with romantic love, but like you said... resonating.

Re: Love
Sat, August 21, 2004 - 9:30 AMI was thinking about love just the other day and realized that:
Love is not a zero-sum game, just because I love myself more, does not mean I love others less. -

Sun, August 22, 2004 - 3:47 AMThough some may say that if you're too into yourself you don't pay attention to others... I don't agree with people that say that, but I've been reading a lot about ego lately. ;)
